Thought Box

Alone at last!

$990.00

The Thought Box is an original and curious piece of furniture that promotes mental efficiency in the user. For convenience, it has been built in to fit beneath the Thought Stool when not in use. To experience the Thought Box, you simply lift up the seat by the handle, thus freeing the unit. Then sit on the stool and place the box on your head. It is intended as a personal space in which to simply think, using sensory deprivation to exclude the outside world. The Thought Box comes complete with ear plugs and 5 interchangeable (and washable) filters.

The five coloured filters included are: White - Gives time and space to reflect. Yellow - Uplifting, associated with the intellectual side of the mind. Pink - Emotionally soothing and calming. Blue - Inspires control, clarity and creativity. Black - Associated with silence and the infinite. Each color creates a different mood as the light passes through the filter and reflects up inside the box.

Really? A cardboard box with a choice of colored fabric covers for just shy of $1k?

The offer of “sensory deprivation” is even more hilarious, as those rigid cardboard sides will act like a drum for incoming sound waves, amplifying and distorting them, something the thin fabric cover will do little to alleviate.

Then again, all you need is a sucker with too much money to buy just one, and you’ve made at least 700% profit!

i think i’ll start making my own and selling them for $500.  you better patent this before other people start to realize the secret behind it.
